Udaipur, April 9, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): A two-day international conference titled “Emerging Technologies and Innovations (ICETI-2026)” commenced on Wednesday at Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University (PAHER University), organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. The conference is being held on April 9 and 10 in hybrid mode.
The central theme of the conference is “Sustainable Development in Advanced Technology,” covering key areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, renewable energy, material science, and quantum computing.
Addressing the gathering as the keynote speaker, Subhajit Bhattacharya, AGM and Head – Maintenance Planning and Asset Optimization at Hindustan Zinc Limited, Vedanta Resources, Zawar Mines, highlighted the importance of mining and described it as a foundation of the country’s industrial progress. Joining virtually, Devesh Singh, Head Research at Ensis Research Center, Tokyo, shared insights on modern research and technological innovations.
On this occasion, Pacific Group President Prof. B.P. Sharma spoke about emerging domains such as genome technology, big data analysis, and techno-nationalism, emphasizing their global impact.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Hemant Kothari encouraged researchers to contribute towards the development of advanced technologies and stated that such conferences provide an important platform for innovation. Conference Chairman Prof. Dilendra Hiran informed that more than 150 researchers are participating and will present their research papers across various technical sessions.
The conference includes plenary talks, oral presentations, and poster sessions, offering participants an opportunity to showcase their work and engage in meaningful discussions on technological innovations and global challenges.
Organising Secretary Dr. Akshat Singh Jhala expressed gratitude to all guests and participants. The event was attended by Coordinator Dr. Raju Kumar Swami, Co-Coordinator Dr. Shankar Patel, Joint Secretary Dr. Divya Shekhawat, and other dignitaries. The programme was conducted by Prof. Ritu Khanna and Dr. Devnita Pole.
