Three Killed, Five Injured in Truck–Car Collision on National Highway 52 | Udaipur Kiran


Jaipur, 17 November (Udaipur Kiran). A head-on collision between a truck and a car on Kota Road along National Highway 52 near Kamalapur village left three people dead and five others seriously injured. The truck was reportedly travelling in the wrong direction when it crashed into the oncoming car, leaving the vehicle severely damaged.

SHO Uttam Singh said that seven residents of Karl village in the Bakani police station area were travelling to Kota for a poojan in a Swift Dzire. Near Kamalapur, a truck coming from the wrong direction hit their car directly. The impact was so severe that the driver, Suresh Lodha, died on the spot.

Harshit Sen, who was critically injured, died on the way to SRG Hospital in Jhalawar. Another injured person, Rameshwar Sen, succumbed during treatment. The other injured — including Shivalal Lodha, Rekha Sen and two others — have been admitted to SRG Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

On receiving information about the accident, Modak police reached the spot, carried out necessary formalities, and registered a case for further investigation.
