
Udaipur, 1 September (Udaipur Kiran). District Collector Namit Mehta conducted a review meeting on Monday to assess the status of essential public services such as electricity, water supply, and healthcare. The meeting involved detailed discussions with concerned officials, and necessary directions were issued to ensure effective service delivery.
The District Collector sought a comprehensive update from K.R. Meena, Superintendent Engineer of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, regarding the current status of power supply in the district, progress on projects announced in the state budget, and the resolution of complaints through the Sampark Portal and public hearings.
Lalit Nagauri, Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department, briefed the Collector on the status of water supply across the district. In light of the recent rainfall and increased water inflow into local sources, the Collector instructed officials to take all necessary precautions to prevent waterborne diseases.
Dr. Vikram Singh, Deputy Chief Medical and Health Officer, also provided updates on seasonal diseases and the progress of the sickle cell survey. The Collector issued further directives to ensure public health and safety.
