The makers of F1 have released the film’s trailer. Starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, the movie is directed by Joseph Kosinski.
Brad Pitt plays Formula 1 race driver Sonny Hayes. He is described as “the best driver that never was.” Javier Bardem, playing the head of an underdog team, convinces Sonny to come back to sport to partner and mentor Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), a rookie driver.

Sonny and Pearce don’t trust each other, spurring an electrifying battle between the two on the racing circuit. Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo are the other actors in the movie.
Kosinski, the director of Top Gun: Maverick, interacted with seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, who gave him inputs for the movie. Hamilton is producing the movie under the banner Dawn Apollo Films. The film was shot at F1 global circuit Silverstone, Last Vegas and Abu Dhabi.
