International Chemistry Conference on Sustainable Development to be Held at PAHER University on October 8–9 | Udaipur Kiran


Udaipur, October 7 (Udaipur Kiran): PAHER University, Udaipur, is set to host a two-day International Chemistry Conference on October 8 and 9, 2025, focusing on the theme “Role of Chemical Sciences in Sustainable Development.” The event is being organized by the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Chemistry in collaboration with the Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT), Mumbai.

The conference aims to foster in-depth discussions on the contribution of chemical sciences toward sustainable development and the scientific community’s role in achieving global sustainability goals.

More than 300 participants from India and abroad, including scientists, researchers, academicians, postgraduate students, and experts from the field of chemistry, will take part in the conference.

The inaugural ceremony will be held on October 8 at the PAHER University Auditorium, with Prof. V. N. R. Pillai, Vice-Chancellor of Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai, as the Chief Guest.

Distinguished guests attending the event include Prof. D. V. Prabhu, President of ACT; Prof. B. P. Sharma, Group President of PAHER University; Prof. Hemant Kothari, Vice-Chancellor of PAHER University; and Prof. Dilendra Hiran, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology.

The conference will feature scientific sessions, poster exhibitions, research paper presentations, and panel discussions. Special sessions for young researchers will also be organized, offering expert guidance and mentorship.
