Weekly Special Train from Chittorgarh to Kanpur Launched

Udaipur, April 6: In a bid to ease the travel burden during the summer holidays, the Western Railway has announced the launch of a weekly special train service from Asarwa to Kanpur Central. This initiative aims to connect passengers from Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, providing a convenient option for long-distance travelers.
Passengers from Chittorgarh district will also benefit from this service, as the train will make a stop at the Chanderiya railway station, ensuring direct connectivity to Kanpur for the local population.
According to the Ratlam division of Western Railway, train number 01906 will depart from Asarwa station every Tuesday at 8:55 AM and reach Chanderiya at 5:55 PM, where it will halt for five minutes. The train is scheduled to arrive at Kanpur Central railway station on Wednesday at 7:00 AM. This service will operate from April 7 to July 14.
On its return journey, train number 01905 will leave Kanpur Central every Monday at 8:15 AM, arriving at Chanderiya at 9:30 PM, and will reach Asarwa at 5:45 AM on Tuesday. This return service will run from April 6 to July 13.
The train will stop at several key stations, including Himmatnagar, Dungarpur, Udaipur City, Rana Pratap Nagar, Mavli Junction, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Fatehpur Sikri, Tundla, and Itawa.
To accommodate passengers, the train will feature Second AC, Third AC, Sleeper, and General coaches, allowing travelers of all budgets to enjoy a comfortable journey.
