
UDAIPUR, January 12: (Udaipur Kiran). Sai Tirupati University, Umarda, on Monday organised the Swami Vivekananda National Youth Run – Swadeshi to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The programme was held in a grand and inspiring manner, with enthusiastic participation from all NSS volunteers of the university.
Addressing the gathering, University Chairperson Ashish Agrawal said such awareness and motivational programmes are regularly organised to promote the all-round development of students, character building and nation-building. He urged the youth to adopt the ideals, thoughts and spirit of Swadeshi propagated by Swami Vivekananda in their daily lives.
Senior faculty members Dr Suresh Goyal, Dilip Kumar and J.P. Tyagi were present on the occasion and encouraged the students while appreciating the initiative.
The event saw active participation from NSS volunteers, other student volunteers, faculty members, and both academic and non-academic staff of the university.
