HCL Technologies Shares Rise on Partnership with University of Western Australia | Udaipur Kiran


Mumbai, December 5 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd moved higher on Friday after the company announced a partnership with The University of Western Australia (UWA). The stock was trading at Rs 1,692.60 on the BSE, up by 9.75 points or 0.58 per cent from its previous close of Rs 1,682.85.

The scrip opened at Rs 1,694.45 and touched an intraday high of Rs 1,694.90 and a low of Rs 1,679.30. A total of 26,953 shares were traded on the counter during the session.

The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs 2, had touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,011.00 on January 13, 2025, and a 52-week low of Rs 1,304.00 on April 7, 2025. Over the last one week, the stock moved between a high of Rs 1,694.90 and a low of Rs 1,624.05. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs 4,58,921.47 crore.

Promoter holding in the company stands at 60.81 per cent, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 34.47 per cent and 4.72 per cent, respectively.

HCL Technologies has partnered with The University of Western Australia to co-develop globally accessible micro-credential programs in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. This marks the first global micro-credential initiative under UWA’s Enterprise Education ecosystem. The short-form, stackable programs are designed to address the growing global demand for advanced digital skills. The courses will combine UWA’s academic expertise with HCLTech’s industry knowledge and will offer hands-on, project-based learning in areas such as machine learning, natural language processing, ethical hacking and coding.

The programs will follow a blended learning model combining online and experiential learning. Participants will earn globally recognised, co-branded certifications and gain defined pathways for further education and career growth.

HCL Technologies is primarily engaged in providing IT and business services, engineering and R&D services, and modernised software products and IP-led offerings.
