New Delhi, 21 November (Udaipur Kiran). With the onset of winter, many people experience stiffness, muscle strain, joint pain and cold-related discomfort. Ayurveda suggests that these issues are often linked to an imbalance of Vata and Kapha in the body. In such conditions, Mahanarayan Oil is widely regarded as a supportive remedy for bone and muscle health.

Ayurvedic experts say that when Vata increases, bones may weaken and joints may start making cracking sounds. Mahanarayan Oil is believed to support joint strength, improve flexibility and nourish ligaments, skin and nerves.

This traditional oil is referenced in classical Ayurvedic texts like Ashtanga Hridaya and Charaka Samhita. It is made using more than 50 herbs. Massage Benefits During Winter

Ayurvedic practitioners also suggest its use when the skin becomes dry and itchy in winter. A quick massage before bathing may help maintain moisture and reduce irritation.

In cases of general weakness or mobility issues, light massage followed by mild sun exposure and a warm bath is recommended in Ayurveda to support nerve and joint function.

Mahanarayan Oil is considered suitable for people of all age groups, including infants for gentle body massage. However, experts advise avoiding exposure to cold air immediately after applying the oil and refraining from very cold foods to prevent discomfort.
