
Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran). On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram, Sai Tirupati University, Umarda, organised a collective singing event on Friday. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, officials, principals of constituent colleges, doctors, faculty members, students, and staff.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar said that in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the University Grants Commission (UGC), the university will hold year-long events from November 7, 2025, to November 7, 2026, celebrating the spirit of patriotism, sacrifice, and unity embodied in Vande Mataram.
