Udaipur, November 6 (Udaipur Kiran): Neetu Salvi, a research scholar from the Faculty of Education, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, has been awarded a Ph.D. degree for her research on the topic “A Comparative Study of Morale, Professional Commitment and Development of School Lecturers Selected through Promotion and Direct Recruitment.”
Neetu Salvi carried out her doctoral research under the guidance of Dr. Ramesh Chandra Nagda, Principal, The Nobles Teachers’ Training College, Udaipur.
Her study revealed several insightful conclusions:
-
School lecturers selected through both promotion and direct recruitment exhibited a consistently high level of morale across all areas of evaluation.
-
However, lecturers selected through direct recruitment demonstrated a slightly higher morale compared to those promoted internally.
-
Across different academic streams — Arts, Commerce, and Science — direct recruits showed higher morale levels than their counterparts selected through promotion.
-
In terms of professional commitment, both groups of lecturers displayed equally strong commitment in all measured domains, scoring above the average benchmark.
-
Similarly, professional development levels among lecturers selected through promotion and direct recruitment were found to be uniform and consistently high across all streams.
The findings underscore that both categories of lecturers maintain strong morale and commitment toward their profession, reflecting a positive trend in the state’s educational system.
