Voter Awareness Campaign Organised at Pacific University | Udaipur Kiran


Udaipur, October 16 (Udaipur Kiran): A voter awareness campaign was organised today at the Pacific College of Teachers Education, Udaipur, with the aim of encouraging students to participate actively in the democratic process. As part of the event, a demonstration of the complete voting procedure was conducted to familiarise students with the electoral system.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Kapilesh Tiwari said that despite being the world’s most populous country, India’s voter turnout remains relatively low. He emphasised that the Election Department, Udaipur, is making continuous efforts to raise awareness about the importance of voting through various public outreach programmes.

In line with this initiative, the college launched a special campaign titled “Aao Milkar Alakh Jagaye, Shat Pratishat Matdaan Karaye” (Let’s awaken awareness and ensure 100% voting) across all constituent colleges of Pacific University. Under this campaign, a series of activities and awareness drives will be conducted to motivate youth participation in elections.

The event was graced by Dr. Hemant Pandya, Principal, College of Physical Education, who served as the chief guest.

Programme convenor Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Chaubisa coordinated the event, while Dr. Sheela Salvi, Dilip Singh Chauhan, Jayashree Mandovra, Dr. Kavita Sagar, Dr. Anjali Dashora, Dr. Kapil Jain, Mamta Vyas, and Anjali Rao, along with all faculty members, were present on the occasion.
