The recently released promo of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has sparked intense discussions among fans, especially those rooting for the beloved on-screen couple often referred to as “Saraj.” While the promo has generated curiosity, some fans expressed disappointment over the absence of their favourite pairing. Addressing this, a former lead actor of the show has now broken his silence, offering both reassurance and clarity.

“Yes I saw the promo and I quite liked it but see I can completely understand ke jis tarah se bhi promo shoot hua hoga ya saraj fans jo hai Woh disappoint hoge (that however the promo may have been shot or whatever the case may be, Saraj fans must be disappointed) because we are not together. But I liked the promo and I am sure makers jo hai woh show ke sath justice karenge aur jo bhi changes aarahe hai show mein Woh kaafi drastic hai, Woh ache hoge aur logo ko acha lagega content wise (I am sure the makers will do justice to the show. Whatever changes are coming to the show are quite drastic, but they’ll be good and people will like it content-wise),” he shared, acknowledging the mixed fan reactions while showing confidence in the show’s new direction.
Confirming speculations, the actor revealed that he was indeed approached to return to the show. However, prior work commitments made it challenging for him to accept the offer. “Yes, I was offered the show again. But the thing is ke main Dusra show kar raha hai hoon so thoda sa difficult hai. Kaafi baatein hui, kaafi plans. Mere liye bhi acha hota agar main Ghum ka part hota but I am sure ke ye is moment pe nahi hua hai toh kuch Acha hai isme (I am doing another show right now, so it was a bit difficult. There were a lot of discussions and plans. It would have been good for me too if I could have been a part of Ghum, but I believe if it hasn’t happened at this moment, then maybe there’s something better in store),” he explained.
While fans may be disappointed by his absence, the actor emphasized that he’s currently focused on a new project that offers a fresh challenge. “Ye ek naya show hai aur mere liye bhi thoda challenging character hai, ek completely new show hai toh phir aise mein chizon ko disturb karna bhi sahi nahi hai. Abhi nahi hua, but in future kabhi hona hoga toh hoga (This is a new show and the character is a bit challenging for me—completely new. So, in that situation, disturbing things that are already in motion wouldn’t be right. It didn’t happen now, but if it’s meant to happen in the future, it will),” he added, leaving the door open for future possibilities.
Despite not being a part of the current track, the actor extended his support to the new cast, especially Bhavika Sharma, who leads the show now. “Abhi main ek naye project par kaam karraha hoon aur ye ek naya project hai but I am very happy for Bhavika and the entire team of GHKPM. Mujhe promo acha laga, acha content agar wo log lekar aarahe hai toh I am sure it will work (Right now, I’m working on a new project and I’m happy for Bhavika and the entire GHKPM team. I liked the promo, and if they’re bringing in good content, I’m sure it will work). Let’s see hope for the best for now.”
