The Bandra Police have officially filed a chargesheet in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, and fresh details are now emerging. According to a report by the Free Press Journal, the chargesheet reveals that the police examined 111 witnesses and recorded statements from 48 of them as part of their investigation.

According to the chargesheet, Kareena Kapoor Khan told the police that she had returned home around 1:20 am after visiting Rhea Kapoor’s house for work. After checking on her sons, she was about to sleep when Jeh’s nanny, Junu, came rushing in. Junu reportedly said that a man had entered the house armed with a knife and was demanding money.
Kareena recounted that after she and Saif rushed to Jeh’s room, they saw the intruder—wearing a black T-shirt—standing next to their son’s bed. When Saif confronted the man, he was attacked. “I then yelled at Eliamma to take Jeh out of the bedroom,” Kareena told the police. She immediately took Jeh and his nanny up to the 12th floor. Just a few minutes later, Saif reportedly arrived there, covered in blood.
According to the chargesheet, Kareena Kapoor recounted the terrifying incident in detail. She revealed that after Saif confronted the intruder and was attacked, he began searching for something to defend himself. But she quickly intervened, urging him to stop and seek medical help immediately. “Yeh sab chhod do, neeche chalo, hospital jaate hain,” she told him, prioritising his safety over everything else in that critical moment.
