In a recent interview with Filmfare, the actor was asked to reveal one embarrassing moment that still makes her cringe. With a smile, Fatima recalled a hilarious and humbling incident from her younger days involving a gutter, a dare, and a bruised ego.
She said, “I was with my friends who were older and all of them were jumping over a gutter to cross over to the other side. They told me I wouldn’t be able to do it because I was too short and the gap was huge. And that pissed me off.”
Determined to prove them wrong, she argued with them and insisted she could make the leap. “So, first I fought with them and told them I could jump. But when I did jump, I fell straight into the gutter. So much for being so cocky,” she said, laughing at the memory.
The incident, though physically messy and emotionally bruising at the time, still lingers in her mind as a lesson in humility—and perhaps in listening to friends once in a while.
