When a fan re-posted a compilation of critic ratings for the film, Amitabh Bachchan responded with, “Bilkul sahi kaha… bilkul sahi kaha aapne. Chaar Chaand,” adding to the celebratory mood around Dasvi’s third anniversary.

Released in 2022, Dasvi is a social comedy directed by debutant Tushar Jalota. The film follows the journey of Ganga Ram Chaudhary, a corrupt and uneducated politician who ends up in jail due to the police’s efforts.

Behind bars, he undergoes a transformation and decides to complete his 10th-grade education. The story is reportedly inspired by former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala. The film also features Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles and is currently streaming on Netflix.
