Actress and singer Suchitra Krishnamoorthi has strongly criticized astrologer Sushil Kumaar Singh for his recent predictions about Bollywood celebrities. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Singh claimed that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan would pass away at the age of 67, and also predicted Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s divorce within a year and a half. Krishnamoorthi took to social media to call out the astrologer and media platforms for spreading misinformation and negativity.

On March 7, Krishnamoorthi expressed her outrage on social media, stating, “All these doomsday astrologers on social media – predicting celebrity misfortune & even deaths!!! Should be penalized for fear-mongering. Utterly appalling. And so should chat show hosts be shamed/banned for monetizing this charlatan nonsense for their own benefit.”
Her criticism extended beyond astrologers to media figures who provide a platform for such claims. On Monday, she reiterated her stance, writing, “Was horrified to see some astrologer named Susheel whatever spout vile gossip & doomsday predictions on the #sidharthkannan show a while ago – including deaths & breakups of our most loved stars. Talk show hosts must be more responsible before spreading so much hate & negativity.”
Astrologer’s Controversial Predictions
In his viral interview, astrologer Sushil Kumaar Singh made multiple shocking claims. Speaking about Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, he stated, “Salman Khan ko jald hi ek bahot badi bimari diagnosed hone wali hai, jiska naam nahi liya jaata. Salman aur Shah Rukh Khan ka ek hi saal mein demise hai. 67 ki age mein dono log dharti chhodenge.”
Regarding Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Singh claimed that their marriage would end within a year and a half. “I did this prediction in 2010, I had written in my blog that this wedding won’t work. Their matter won’t be solved and within one and a half years, divorce is possible,” he stated. He further claimed that he had acquired their astrological charts from a senior astrologer.
Celebrity Reactions and Public Backlash
Suchitra Krishnamoorthi was not the only one disturbed by the astrologer’s remarks. Many social media users also condemned the predictions, calling them irresponsible and harmful. “It’s using social media to get clients… And they use celebrities and politicians to attract people to watch the episode. Many of the channels charge money from people who want to be on the show,” said a user. Meanwhile, another commented, “Only a few astrologers are good. There are many quacks in this field.”
