Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reflected on Shabana Azmi’s contributions, saying, “We really love the visual poem, Mile Sur Mera Tumhara. I have seen you in it.”
Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar commended Karnataka for its vibrant cultural and musical heritage.
In response, the Chief Minister emphasized Karnataka’s rich musical legacy, noting that legendary Hindustani classical musicians like Bhimsen Joshi, Kumar Gandharva, and Gangubai Hangal all hailed from Dharwad.
