
Udaipur, June 4, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : Water supply in the Nagar Subdivision-VII area of Udaipur will remain affected on Friday after the rising main line connected to the Udaipur Development Trust (UIT) tank was damaged during drain cleaning work being carried out by the Municipal Corporation.
According to Assistant Engineer Yamini Upadhyay, the rising main line was damaged during the cleaning operation, affecting water supply in areas including Chandra Colony, Meera Nagar, UIT Colony and Old RTO Road.
She said that repair work on the rising main line is underway, due to which the scheduled water supply on Friday will remain disrupted. The water supply planned for Friday in the affected areas will now be provided on Saturday.
