UDAIPUR, June 4, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : District Collector Gaurav Agrawal on Thursday visited the Narayan Seva Sansthan campus at Liyon Ka Guda. He inaugurated the 3D-printed Narayan Module Artificial Limb Fitment Camp, developed using Japanese and German technology, and interacted with differently-abled persons and their family members who had arrived from various states for artificial limbs (hands and legs), calipers and surgeries. He conveyed his best wishes to them.
The District Collector also visited the institution’s free training centres for differently-abled persons, including tailoring, computer, mobile and handicraft training facilities, and interacted with trainees.
He said that in his life so far, he had not seen such a service dedicated to differently-abled and destitute people. He added that he did not think similar work in the fields of treatment, education, training and rehabilitation of differently-abled persons was being carried out elsewhere in the country in the same manner. Referring to the institution’s humanitarian service, he said that it appeared as though all this work was being guided by God.
Padma Shri awardee and institution founder Kailash ‘Manav’, President Prashant Agrawal and Director Vandana Agrawal welcomed the District Collector during the visit.
The institution’s president informed him that Narayan Seva Sansthan has so far provided free surgeries to more than 4.52 lakh differently-abled persons, facilitated the marriages of over 2,500 differently-abled and underprivileged couples, and supplied free artificial limbs to more than 40,000 persons who had lost their limbs in accidents.
