
Ratlam, May 27 (Udaipur Kiran) – Western Railway has decided to convert the Mumbai Central-Kathgodam weekly special train into a regular superfast express service for the convenience of passengers.
According to Ratlam Division Public Relations Officer Mukesh Kumar, the train will now operate regularly with revised train numbers 21907 and 21908. The regular service from Mumbai Central will begin on May 27, while operations from Kathgodam will commence from May 28.
Weekly Schedule
Train number Mumbai Central-Kathgodam Superfast Express 21907 will depart from Mumbai Central every Wednesday at 10:55 am. The train will reach Ratlam at 8:10 pm and after a 10-minute halt, it will continue its journey to reach Kathgodam at 1:50 pm the next day.
In the return direction, train number 21908 will depart from Kathgodam every Thursday at 5:30 pm. It will arrive at Ratlam at 10:30 am on Friday and leave at 10:40 am before reaching Mumbai Central at 9:00 pm the same night.
Major Halts
The train will halt at several important stations in both directions, including Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Shamgarh, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Mathura, Hathras City, Kasganj, Badaun, Bareilly Junction, Bareilly City, Izzatnagar, Baheri, Kichha, Lalkuan and Haldwani.
Coach Composition
Earlier, the service was being operated with train numbers 09075 and 09076 as a special train. After becoming a regular service, the train will include AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper class and second-class general coaches for passengers. Railway officials said the move is aimed at providing better and permanent rail connectivity between Mumbai Central and Kathgodam.
