I wish for the good health and prosperity of the state’s people.” This year marks the 50th anniversary of Sikkim’s statehood. Recently, he had the privilege of being among the people of Sikkim for the celebrations.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also shared his wishes on X, stating, “Best wishes to all residents of Sikkim on Statehood Day. With its natural beauty of Kanchenjunga, rich biodiversity, and fully organic farming, Sikkim has carved a unique identity in the country. It plays a significant role in the nation’s progress through cleanliness, tourism, and a rich cultural heritage.”
