Jaipur, April 16 (Udaipur Kiran): The 77th Foundation Day celebrations of the Rajasthan Police concluded on a vibrant and memorable note on Thursday evening at the stadium premises of the Rajasthan Police Academy. The grand cultural evening, filled with music, performances, and camaraderie, created an atmosphere of joy and celebration among the police fraternity and attendees.

The decorated stage came alive with captivating performances that kept the audience engaged throughout the evening. The event also featured a traditional community feast, where the aroma and taste of delicious dishes further strengthened the sense of bonding and happiness within the police family.

Renowned singer Swaroop Khan and his team set the tone with popular Rajasthani songs, including Kesariya Balam. Senior police officials also showcased their musical talents. ADG Intelligence Prafull Kumar inspired the audience with his rendition of Ruk Jana Nahin, while DIG Dr Ravi led a performance along with Additional SP Nishant Bhardwaj and team.

Several other performances added charm to the evening. Mitali Garg sang Yaara Sili Sili, Head Constable Kushal Singh performed O Re Piya, while Antim Sharma and Additional SP Dr Hemant Jakhad impressed the audience with their soulful renditions.

A special highlight of the evening was when DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma personally served food to members of the police family during the community feast, a gesture that was warmly received by all present.

The cultural programme also featured performances by Sube Singh, and a duet by Praveen and Indu. A high-energy dance presentation by Laxmi and her team, along with a powerful chorus performance, added further vibrancy. The disciplined and melodious tunes of the police band brought the event to a grand conclusion.

Earlier, devotional bhajans presented by Habib Khan and team created a serene and spiritual ambience. Evergreen songs performed by Kushal Singh, Mitali, Kamlesh, Dalveer, and Indu were also appreciated by the audience. A patriotic performance by Kushal and Nandkishore paid tribute to the spirit of the nation’s brave soldiers.

The evening was effectively anchored by DySP Deepak Joshi and SI Dr Mahesh Solanki, whose lively presentation ensured smooth coordination and sustained audience engagement throughout the programme.

The event witnessed the presence of several senior officials and dignitaries, including former DGP ML Lathar, Bains, DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma, DGs Sanjay Agarwal, Govind Gupta, Anil Paliwal, Anand Srivastava, and Home Secretary Anjali Rajoria, along with serving and retired officers and their families.

The musical evening, organised as part of the statewide 77th Foundation Day celebrations, left a lasting impression on police personnel, visitors, and foreign tourists alike.
