Udaipur, April 7, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — Gulab Chand Kataria visited GBH General Hospital in Bedwas on Tuesday morning to inquire about the health of senior BJP leader Laxmilal Chordia (93), who is currently admitted in the ICU.
During his visit, the Governor met Chordia in the ICU and said in an emotional tone, “Your life of struggle and dedication is an inspiration for all of us.” He also prayed for his speedy recovery. Before leaving for Chandigarh, Kataria took out time to visit the hospital and gathered detailed information from doctors at the medical ICU located on the fourth floor.
He also encouraged the family members, including Sharad Chordia, Sunil Chordia, Chandraprakash Chordia, Manish, Kanta, and Meena Chordia, assuring them of his support in all circumstances and asking them to inform him of any requirement.
The gesture reflected deep respect and affection for Chordia, who has remained active in political and social fields for a long time, as the Governor personally visited the hospital to check on his health.
At the hospital, Kataria was received by GBH Group Chairman Dr. Kirti Kumar Jain, Director Dr. Surbhi Porwal, Dr. Priya Jain, and Dr. Dinesh Kothari. He later accompanied them to the ICU and took updates on treatment from nephrologist Dr. Mukesh Badjatya and Dr. R.K. Samar.
