
Nashik, April 4: A tragic road accident in Maharashtra’s Nashik has resulted in the deaths of nine individuals, including six children. According to police reports, a Maruti XL6 car fell into a roadside well on Friday night. The victims were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony when the incident occurred in the Shivaji Nagar area of Dindori city around 10 PM.
Rescue operations were initiated around midnight, involving two cranes and divers to retrieve the car and its occupants. Initial information indicates that the deceased belonged to the Dargude family from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The victims have been identified as Sunil Dattu Dargude (32), his wife Reshma, Asha Anil Dargude (32), and their six children, aged between 7 and 14 years.
The bodies have been transported to the government hospital in Dindori. Authorities have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
