Chittorgarh, March 29 (Udaipur Kiran): In view of increased passenger rush during the summer season, the North Western Railway has announced a weekly special train service between Sriganganagar and Laxmibai Nagar (Indore). The service will operate from April 2 to July 9, completing a total of 15 trips.
Train number 04735 will depart from Sriganganagar every Thursday at 12:50 pm and reach Indore at 9:55 am the following day, Friday. In the return direction, train number 04736 will leave Indore every Friday at 1:55 pm and arrive in Sriganganagar at 12:20 pm on Saturday.
The introduction of this special train is expected to ease travel during the summer holidays. Passengers from Chittorgarh district will particularly benefit, as the train will also halt at Chittorgarh station, providing a direct connectivity option to both Indore and Sriganganagar.
Earlier, passengers often had to change trains or wait for long durations, but this direct service is likely to reduce both travel time and inconvenience.
The train will halt at several important stations en route, including Sadulshahar, Hanumangarh, Ellenabad, Nohar, Bhadra, Sadulpur, Churu, Fatehpur Shekhawati, Laxmangarh, Sikar, Ringas, Phulera, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, and Fatehabad Chandrawatiganj.
The train will comprise a total of 20 coaches, including 1 Second AC, 2 Third AC, 11 Sleeper class, 4 General class, and 2 guard coaches.
