Service and Respect Mark Durgashtami, 501 Divyang Girls Honoured | Udaipur Kiran

Udaipur, March 26 (Udaipur Kiran): On the auspicious occasion of Durgashtami and Ram Navami, special prayers dedicated to the nine forms of Goddess Durga were performed on Thursday at the Seva Mahatirth campus of Narayan Seva Sansthan.

On this occasion, 501 divyang girls were honoured through traditional Kanya Pujan with devotion and respect, along with prayers for their bright future.

Institution Director Vandana Agarwal performed the पूजा and presented gifts to the girls. Following the ceremony, prasad including halwa, puri, kheer, and chana was distributed among all the girls.

Speaking on the occasion, Vandana Agarwal said that Kanya Pujan on Durgashtami symbolises service, faith, and respect. She added that the institution is continuously working to empower divyang girls and integrate them into the mainstream of society. For this, they are provided free medical care, education, skill training, and rehabilitation facilities.

Institution President Prashant Agarwal stated that the organisation has been continuing the tradition of Kanya Pujan for the past 22 years. During Navratri, these girls are also provided free corrective surgeries related to disabilities to bring positive changes in their lives.
