Udaipur, February 23, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – World Scout Day was observed as a Day of Reflection at Pacific College of Teachers Education during the ongoing Master Flock Leader Basic Course camp. The birth anniversary of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of scouting, was commemorated on the occasion.
Guests attending the programme were escorted to the venue with a guard of honour and band presentation. The chief guest was National General Secretary of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, G.S. Sharma. State Secretary of Rajasthan, Narendra Audichya, and District Secretary, Udaipur, Mrs Rama Jain, were also present.
The seven-day camp is providing BSTC students with basic training in scouting. The course includes scout prayer, flag song, rules, pledge, salute, etiquette, flag hoisting and folding, first aid, various types of knots, and basic military preparedness activities. Training counsellors from different districts of the state are also participating in the camp.
On the occasion, a new book titled “Pradesik Bhasha” authored by micro booklet world record holder Chandra Prakash Chittora was also released during the ceremony.
