New Delhi, February 20: During the ongoing India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, George Osborne, the head of OpenAI, along with Chief Global Affairs Officer Chris Lehen and Head of Strategy and Global Affairs in India, Pragya Mishra, met with Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan on Thursday.

The meeting focused on recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI), its applications, and the rapid expansion of AI in India.

Earlier, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also met with his Bolivian counterpart, Edmund Lara Montano, at the AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi. The two leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation in solar energy, critical minerals, digital technology, higher education, and the medical sector. The aim of this dialogue was to strengthen mutual relations between India and Bolivia and to advance partnerships across various sectors.

Following the meeting, the Vice President’s office posted on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Bolivia’s Vice President H.E. Edmund Lara Montano met with India’s Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan at the Vice President’s residence in New Delhi during the India AI Impact Summit 2026.”

The post further noted, “Both leaders expressed satisfaction over the continuously strengthening bilateral relations between India and Bolivia. They discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in solar energy, critical minerals, digitalization, higher education, and the medical sector, as well as strengthening collaboration on multilateral and other international platforms.”

Montano arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday to participate in the AI Impact Summit, where he was warmly welcomed at the airport by Satish Chandra Dubey, Minister of State for Coal and Mining.

The Ministry of External Affairs also posted on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Captain Edmund Lara of Bolivia was warmly welcomed upon his arrival in New Delhi by Satish Chandra Dubey, marking a new beginning for digital partnership in the friendly relations between India and Bolivia.”
