Udaipur, February 18: A significant uproar has emerged in Uttar Pradesh regarding the film ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story.’ Initially limited to protests on the streets, the situation has escalated into a legal matter. Members of the Yadav community have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against the film’s producer, director, and main cast members. This action has further intensified the ongoing controversy.

According to reports, the FIR was lodged on Wednesday at the Dhannari police station in the Gunaur tehsil of Sambhal district. The complaint was filed by Arvind Kumar, a resident of the village Bhakarouli, who arrived at the police station with over two dozen supporters. The complainants allege that the film’s title and storyline are offensive to the sentiments of the Yadav community.

They claim that the film misrepresents their society, potentially damaging the community’s image. Based on these concerns, they have demanded an immediate halt to the film’s release.

The FIR names four individuals, including producer Sandeep Tomar, director Ankit Bhardwaj, lead actress Pragati Tiwari, and actor Vishal Mohan. The police have registered the case and initiated an investigation based on the complaint.

In recent days, protests have erupted in Sambhal and surrounding areas against the film. Members of the Yadav community argue that the film’s title is objectionable and deliberately targets their community. Protesters have taken to the streets, burning film posters and demanding strict action from the authorities.

Cinema hall operators have also been warned in several locations that if the film is released, protests will escalate. Amidst this controversy, the film is scheduled to be released on February 27.
