Jaipur, February 18, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Jaipur’s Special Investigation Unit has arrested Dinesh Kumar Vaishnav, Junior Technical Assistant (contractual), Panchayat Samiti Revdar in Sirohi district, while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹80,000 from a complainant.
According to Rajasthan Anti Corruption Bureau, the action was taken under a trap operation. A complaint was lodged alleging that the accused had demanded ₹1,00,000 at the rate of ₹10,000 per cattle shed for issuing technical approval for construction of 10 cattle sheds in a gram panchayat.
The complaint was verified on February 11, 2026. During verification, it was found that the accused had agreed to accept ₹80,000 at the rate of ₹8,000 per cattle shed for issuing technical sanction.
Following verification, a trap was laid under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General Anil Kayal and led by Additional Superintendent of Police Sandeep Saraswat of the Special Investigation Unit. The accused was caught red-handed while accepting ₹80,000 from the complainant.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional Director General Smita Srivastava and Inspector General Satyendra Kumar. The accused is being questioned and further legal action is underway.
The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and is continuing the investigation.
