Mumbai, February — (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Hero MotoCorp moved higher in early trade after the company reported a sharp rise in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of FY26.
Hero MotoCorp was trading at Rs 5,794.80 on the BSE, up by Rs 26.00 or 0.45 per cent from its previous close of Rs 5,768.80. The stock opened at Rs 5,793.75 and touched an intraday high of Rs 5,842.25 and a low of Rs 5,713.40. A total of 13,966 shares were traded on the counter so far.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs 2, has recorded a 52-week high of Rs 6,390.00 on December 5, 2025, and a 52-week low of Rs 3,322.60 on April 7, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip has moved between Rs 5,898.95 and Rs 5,403.10. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs 1,16,467.26 crore.
Promoter holding in Hero MotoCorp remains at 34.73 per cent, while institutional investors hold 55.80 per cent and non-institutional investors account for 9.47 per cent of the shareholding.
On a standalone basis, the company reported a 12.11 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 1,348.55 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, compared to Rs 1,202.84 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income increased by 19.91 per cent to Rs 12,624.25 crore from Rs 10,528.29 crore a year ago.
On a consolidated basis, Hero MotoCorp posted a 14.45 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 1,267.55 crore for Q3FY26, as against Rs 1,107.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Total consolidated income rose by 20.99 per cent to Rs 12,784.58 crore, compared with Rs 10,566.31 crore in the year-ago period.
