Operation Chakravyuh: Illegal MD Factory Busted in Baglia Hills

Udaipur Kiran, Jaipur, December 29: Under the guidance of SP B. Aditya, the Operation Chakravyuh has dealt a severe blow to drug traffickers. The Hathuniya police exposed an illegal MD manufacturing factory operating in the dense forests and hills of Baglia. Authorities seized a large quantity of equipment and narcotics and arrested one accused in the operation.

SP Aditya stated that on the night of December 29, when Hathuniya police station in-charge Udayveer Singh and his team were on patrol, they noticed a fire burning on a hill amidst thick trees on a deserted path from Baglia to Takravad. The suspicious fire in the cold and isolated area prompted the team to investigate.

The police quietly climbed the hill and discovered a shocking scene. Inside a plastic hut, a full illegal setup for manufacturing MD was found. Upon hearing the police, 21-year-old Kareem Ajmeri from Baglia tried to escape but was surrounded and caught by the alert squad. A search revealed 28.54 grams of illegal MD in his possession.

During questioning, Kareem admitted to guarding the factory on the instructions of Haroon Ajmeri. The police also seized the motorcycle and manufacturing materials used in the operation.

Haroon Ajmeri is identified as the mastermind behind this illicit business. He is no ordinary criminal, having four serious NDPS Act cases registered against him in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Previously, Hathuniya police station had frozen properties acquired through his illegal earnings under Section 68(F), but Haroon continued to operate fearlessly in the forests, weaving his drug network.

The operation was carried out under the leadership of station in-charge Udayveer Singh, with significant contributions from ASI Bholuram, Ramchandra, Head Constable Rajveer, Manohar Singh, Suresh Kumar, and constables Anoop, Mukesh, Arun, Suresh, Girish Chand, Bhagwatilal, along with driver Ganpat.

The police are currently conducting raids at potential locations to apprehend the absconding Haroon Ajmeri.
