NCERT Recruitment 2026: Apply for 173 Non-Teaching Posts from 10th to PG


Udaipur Kiran: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced a major recruitment drive for 2026. A total of 173 non-teaching vacancies are open across Group A, B, and C posts. Candidates with qualifications ranging from 10th pass to post-graduation can apply for these government jobs.

The application process began on December 27, 2025, and will continue until January 16, 2026, at 11:55 PM. Interested candidates must apply online through the official NCERT website, ncert.nic.in.

The distribution of vacancies is as follows: 138 posts in Group A, 26 in Group B, and 9 in Group C. Reservation is applicable as per government norms for UR, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories, ensuring equal opportunities for all.

Educational eligibility varies by post. Some positions require a minimum of 10th or 12th pass or ITI certificates, while others need graduation or diploma qualifications. Technical and administrative roles demand post-graduate degrees along with relevant experience. Available positions include engineer, accountant, librarian, production officer, cameraman, clerk, lab assistant, and storekeeper.

Selected candidates will receive salaries under the 7th Pay Commission. Monthly pay scales range from Level 2 to Level 12, with figures starting at ₹19,900 and exceeding ₹2 lakh for higher-level posts. Other government allowances and benefits will also be provided.

The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 50 years. Application fees vary according to the post level, while SC, ST, persons with disabilities, and ex-servicemen are exempt from fees.

The selection process includes multiple stages: a computer-based test (CBT), a written exam, skill tests where applicable, and an interview. Final selection depends on the candidate’s overall performance and document verification.

To apply, candidates should visit the NCERT official website, complete the online registration, fill out the application form carefully, upload the required documents, pay the applicable fee, and submit the form. It is advisable to save a printout of the completed application for future reference.
