Jaipur, December 19 (Udaipur Kiran): A brave constable of Rajasthan Police risked his own life to rescue five youths from the jaws of death during a massive fire incident in Neemrana. Constable Satnam Singh emerged as a real-life hero during a late-night blaze at Jai Guest House in Yaduvanshi Colony, Hero Chowk. Jumped into the flames with a muffler tied around his face

On Wednesday night, a sudden fire broke out in the basement of the guest house, trapping six youths with no escape route. Thick smoke and raging flames created panic at the spot. Constable Satnam Singh (No. 931), who was on night patrol in the area, received information about the incident and rushed to the scene without delay.

The basement was filled with suffocating smoke, making breathing extremely difficult. Showing presence of mind, Satnam tied his muffler around his face and entered the burning basement. Displaying remarkable courage amid the choking smoke, he managed to pull out all six trapped youths and immediately sent them to Manohar Hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of the incident, one youth could not be saved, but Satnam’s swift action ensured that five lives were rescued.
