National Maru Ratna Awards 2025 Announced; Udaipur’s Sandeep Rathore and Dr. Dolly Mogra to Receive Lifetime Honour | Udaipur Kiran


Jodhpur, 17 December (Udaipur Kiran) — The Maru Environment Conservation Institute (DECO), Jodhpur, has announced the recipients of the prestigious National Maru Ratna Awards 2025, presented annually to individuals making significant contributions in environmental protection, social service and cultural development.

DECO President Dr. S.L. Harsh informed that, based on recommendations of the selection committee, Udaipur-based social media influencer and environmental advocate Sandeep Rathore and Dr. Dolly Mogra, Head (In-charge), Department of Fashion Technology & Designing, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, have been selected for the Lifetime Maru Ratna Award.

The award ceremony will be held on 3 January 2026 at 1 pm at the auditorium of Pushtikar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jodhpur, organised jointly with Pushtikar Purohit Surjaram Roopadevi Smriti Mahila Mahavidyalaya.

12 Others to Receive Maru Ratna Award

College Secretary Om Prakash Lohra said that 12 distinguished individuals from various fields will also be honoured with the Maru Ratna Award. These include:

  • Seema Saini, Director, GWF, Kekri (Ajmer)

  • Gunishin Kaur Bohra, Gurugram (Haryana)

  • Dr. Mahesh Chandra Sharma

  • Advocate & Mritunjay Sansthan Secretary, Premendra Bohra

  • Chetan Prakash Sen, Suryash Social & Educational Development Institute

  • Agriculture Expert Rajendra Prasad Vyas

Each awardee will receive a memento and a certificate of appreciation.
