SI Recruitment Scam Uncovered Through Signature and Handwriting Analysis | Udaipur Kiran

Jaipur, December 15 (Udaipur Kiran) – The Special Operation Group (SOG) is conducting a detailed investigation into the paper leak and dummy candidate substitution cases in the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination. All arrested candidates’ documents are being scrutinized carefully. Photographs, handwriting, and signatures taken at the examination centres are being matched against current records. In suspicious cases, technical analysis and forensic science laboratory (FSL) tests are being carried out.

SOG ADG Vishal Bansal stated that so far, 137 accused have been arrested, including 63 trainee sub-inspectors and 6 selected sub-inspectors. He added that the investigation is not limited to the paper leak but extends to the entire network involved in passing candidates through dummy substitutes.

According to ADG Bansal, the complete recruitment record from the Rajasthan Public Service Commission has been obtained and is being continuously analysed. Some candidates’ records appeared suspicious during the probe. When discrepancies were found in photos, handwriting, and signatures between the person who took the exam and the one currently employed, an FSL examination was conducted. Where the FSL confirmed that these were different individuals, strict action is being taken against them.

He explained that document verification is done in two stages. In the first stage, SOG officers carry out preliminary scrutiny, and if doubts arise, the second stage involves FSL testing. Although this process is time-consuming and demanding, each candidate’s documents are being thoroughly checked.
