Jaipur, November 29 (Udaipur Kiran): The Indian Army’s Dot on Target Division under Headquarters Sapta Shakti Command successfully organised an Ex-Servicemen Rally and medical camp at Hisar Military Station on November 29, 2025, for veterans from ten districts of Haryana — Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Rohtak and Sirsa. More than 1,500 veterans, Veer Naris, Veer Matas and their Next of Kin participated in the event.
The rally was attended by Haryana Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Minister Rao Narbir Singh as the chief guest, along with Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President, Sapta Shakti AWWA and Maj Gen Amit Talwar, GOC, Dot on Target Division. Senior Army officers, civil dignitaries and representatives of welfare organisations were also present. The programme began with a cultural presentation by NCC cadets and the military band.
Help desks and stalls were set up by various Record Offices, Banks, Police, MSMEs and Government Welfare Agencies including DIAV, AWPO, ECHS and Zila Sainik Boards to assist Ex-servicemen with grievance redressal, documentation updates, pension-related issues and employment opportunities. A medical camp under the Military Hospital, Hisar provided health check-ups and specialist consultations to the participants.
Addressing the gathering, the Army Commander reaffirmed the commitment of Sapta Shakti Command towards regular communication, interaction, empowerment and comprehensive care of Veterans, Veer Naris and Veer Matas. The rally concluded with a felicitation ceremony in which Veer Naris, Veer Matas and war-wounded veterans were honoured. Mobility aids including 13 e-scooters, assistive devices and financial assistance were also distributed to several disabled Ex-servicemen.
Veterans and Veer Naris expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and the State Government for organising the rally and providing on-ground assistance and awareness of welfare schemes.
