Neem Helps Detox Liver and Reduce Acne | Udaipur Kiran

New Delhi, 13 November (Udaipur Kiran). In Ayurveda, neem leaves, flowers, twigs and fruits are considered highly beneficial. Neem is known for its ability to detoxify the liver and help reduce acne, blemishes and skin infections.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, neem is a precious gift of nature. Its natural bitterness is extremely helpful for the body and has been used in Ayurveda for centuries. Chewing 5–7 neem leaves daily or drinking its juice helps flush out toxins from the liver. This strengthens digestion, improves energy levels and keeps the liver functioning smoothly, reducing fatigue and sluggishness.

Neem also plays an important role in lowering bad cholesterol. Its antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties help clean arterial deposits, reducing the risk of heart diseases and improving blood circulation. For skin health, neem works as a powerful remedy. Ayurvedic experts recommend applying neem leaf paste or consuming neem juice to treat acne, dark spots and pimples. The compound azadirachtin present in neem fights bacteria and keeps the skin clean and healthy.

Including neem in daily routine is safe, affordable and beneficial. Washing the face with neem-infused water brings natural glow and reduces acne. Neem is useful not only in winter but also during summer and monsoon. Neem kadha, made by boiling its leaves, can be consumed for detox. In summer, a sherbet made from neem flowers offers multiple benefits when taken on an empty stomach. However, consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner before regular consumption is advised.
