Jaipur, November 9 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Second Promo Run of the upcoming ‘Honour Run – 2025’ was successfully organised on Sunday at Gandiv Stadium, Jaipur Military Station, under the aegis of the Sapta Shakti Command. The main event, ‘Honour Run – 2025’, is scheduled to take place on 7 December 2025

The run was conducted with the theme “Bhartiya Sena: Shaurya aur Balidan ki Parampara” — celebrating the valour, sacrifice, and proud traditions of the Indian Army. The event was flagged off by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, and saw enthusiastic participation from serving personnel, veterans, families, and local citizens.

Addressing the participants, the Army Commander said that the run serves as a salute from the citizens of India to the indomitable spirit of soldiers and veterans. He highlighted that the event symbolises the nation’s tribute and honour to those who have dedicated their lives to the security of India’s borders across land, sea, and air. He also urged citizens to participate in the main event on December 7, describing it as a collective expression of the nation’s gratitude to its heroes.

Covering scenic routes around Queens Road and Jaipur Military Station, the run promoted physical fitness, national integration, and pride in the Armed Forces. The active participation of civilians alongside Army personnel showcased the strong bond between the Indian Army and the people of the nation.

The forthcoming ‘Honour Run 2025’ will be a major tribute to India’s veterans, featuring timed 21 km and 10 km categories and attracting participants from across the region. The event underscores the Army’s enduring commitment to fitness, discipline, unity, and respect for the spirit of service and sacrifice among the public.

The Second Promo Run concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming the message — “Run to Honour the Valour and Sacrifice of Veterans” — and celebrating the unbreakable bond between the Indian Army and Indian citizens.
