MDS Students Shine at District and State-Level Chess Championships | Udaipur Kiran


Udaipur, October 10 (Udaipur Kiran): Students from MDS Public School, Udaipur delivered an outstanding performance at the 69th District-Level Chess Championship held at St. Paul’s School, showcasing their intelligence, focus, and strategic brilliance.

In the Under-17 category, Rishaan Jain, Dhananjay Shukla, Vineet Santosh Kage, Yuvraj Jain, and Rishaan Lamba secured first place, marking a strong display of teamwork and skill.

In the Under-19 Boys category, Mitansh Sahu, Jainil Parmar, Kunal Paliwal, Dhairya Choudhary, and Kavya Kothari won the third position, while in the Under-19 Girls category, Bhavya Maheshwari, Nitya Bajpai, Nivisha Khandelwal, and Prinssi Doshi also bagged third place.

Based on their excellent performances, these students were selected for the state-level competition held at Navjeevan Academy School, Sikar, where MDS students continued their winning streak.

At the state-level championship, the results were as follows:

  • First Place: Bhavya Maheshwari, Rishaan Jain, Vihana Kothari

  • Second Place: Lorisha Kothari

  • Fourth Place: Mitansh Sahu

  • Fifth Place: Vineet Santosh Kage

Their remarkable success at the state level earned several MDS students a place in the national-level chess championship.

  • Third Place: Vihana Kothari
