Udaipur, 1 September (Udaipur Kiran). The Faculty of Science and Technology at Pacific University celebrated the ‘Guru Vandana and Fresher’s Fest 2025’ with great enthusiasm and joy. The event began with the lighting of the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati. Present at the inauguration were PAHER President Prof. Hemant Kothari, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Prof. Dilendra Heeran, Director of Pacific Institute of Hotel Management Prof. Vinod Kumar Singh Bhadoria, Principal of the Faculty of Science Prof. Seema Kothari, Engineering Faculty Coordinator Dr. Akshat Singh Jhala, Computer Science Faculty Coordinator Dr. Divya Shekhawat, Prof. Ritu Khanna, and Anushka Nahar.
Addressing the students, President Prof. Hemant Kothari shared information about the various technical courses available at the university, highlighting Pacific University’s excellence not only in education but also in research and innovation. He encouraged students to study with dedication and hard work, assuring them of the best opportunities at the university. Prof. Kothari urged students to use modern technology positively and contribute to the progress of society and the nation.
Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Prof. Dilendra Heeran, in his motivational address, shared the keys to success with the students. He emphasized that discipline, self-confidence, and hard work are the main keys to moving ahead in life. Prof. Heeran informed students about various ongoing innovative activities at the university and inspired them to participate actively. He advised the new students to not just limit themselves to obtaining a degree but also focus on skill and personality development.
During the programme, students showcased their talents through various cultural performances, including dance, songs, and plays. The Guru Vandana presentation captivated the audience. The entire event was successfully coordinated by Prof. Ritu Khanna and Anushka Nahar.
All faculty members and coordinators were present at the event. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Akshat Singh Jhala.
