उदयपुर: उदयपुर के वार्ड 66 में इस बार नगर निगम चुनाव का मुकाबला खास हो गया है। उमेश मनवानी को भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने वार्ड 66 से अपना प्रत्याशी बनाया है और अब वे आधिकारिक रूप से चुनाव मैदान में हैं। राजस्थान राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग से जुड़े उम्मीदवार रिकॉर्ड के अनुसार, 4 सितंबर 2026 को चुनाव चिन्ह आवंटन के बाद मनवानी की उम्मीदवारी दर्ज है। वार्ड 66 सामान्य श्रेणी का वार्ड है, जहां कुल 4,921 मतदाता और 5 मतदान केंद्र हैं।

Umesh Manwani Enters the Ward 66 Electoral Contest
Umesh Manwani is now officially in the race for Ward 66 of Udaipur Nagar Nigam as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate in the 2026 Rajasthan urban local body elections.
The candidate record, citing the Rajasthan State Election Commission, lists Manwani as a contesting BJP candidatefollowing the completion of the nomination, withdrawal and symbol-allotment process. Ward 66 is classified as a General seat.
The ward has 4,921 registered voters, including 2,516 men and 2,405 women, spread across five polling booths and 25 localities.
The election therefore gives Manwani a direct electoral platform in Udaipur after years of involvement in community and institutional organisations.
From Community Leadership to Electoral Politics
Manwani’s political entry comes against the backdrop of an established record of community participation.
In January 2025, he was reported to have been elected president of the Pujya Pratapnagar Sindhi Panchayat for the fourth consecutive term. That repeated election remains one of the most notable documented milestones in his community leadership journey.
