Suchitra Mohanlal has opened up about the frequently asked questions surrounding the marriage plans of her children, Pranav Mohanlal and Vismaya Mohanlal.Mohanlal‘s wife said in a recent interview with Can media that the decision about marriage should ultimately remain with the children.Suchitra said that the family does not intend to pressure either of them into marriage. According to Suchitra Mohanlal, her children can decide what they want for their personal lives.During the interview, Suchitra Mohanlal explained that she has already told her children that they can choose when and whether they want to get married. She also said they can approach their parents if they want help finding a partner.“It seems people are now tired of asking what happened to the children’s marriage. That too is their choice. I have told them, you can get married whenever you feel you want to. If you want us to find someone for you, come and tell us. If you want to find someone on your own, you can tell us that openly as well. If you don’t want to get married anymore, that’s okay too. We are happiest when you are with us. You can tell us that openly whenever you want.”Suchitra Mohanlal also addressed questions about grandchildren. She said that she is not putting any pressure on Pranav Mohanlal and Vismaya Mohanlal to have children.

Suchitra Mohanlal said that relatives already have grandchildren. She explained that she is comfortable waiting until her own children decide what they want.“Then everyone asks us, don’t you want grandchildren? I tell them that my brother and sister already have grandchildren. That’s enough for me. Whenever these two feel they want children, we can think about it then. That is what the current generation prefers too.”She further pointed out that both her children are adults. Pranav Mohanlal, whom she affectionately calls Appu, is 36 years old. Vismaya Mohanlal is 32.“They are adults now. Appu is 36 years old, while Maya is 32. If they don’t have that freedom, then we cannot expect them to simply do what we say or follow everything we tell them.”

Vismaya Mohanlal recently made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie ‘Thudakkam’.The film is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. It also features Mohanlal in a guest appearance.Mohanlal also shared an update about the movie on Twitter. He posted a new poster from ‘Thudakkam’ and celebrated its continued run in theatres.
