Patna, July 15: The Bihar government has announced a significant reshuffle in the state police service, transferring 22 officers holding the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). A notification has been issued detailing new responsibilities assigned to various officials. The transfer list includes postings in roles such as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Cyber Crime and Security Unit, Special Task Force (STF), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Traffic, and other units.
According to the orders released by the Home Department, several officers have been sent to field postings, while others have been transferred from one district to another. This move aims to enhance the administrative efficiency and effectiveness of the police force.
As per the list, Ajit Kumar (Buxar) has been appointed as SDPO-1, Danapur (Patna). Ramesh Kumar (Vaishali) has been assigned the responsibility of SDPO, Ramnagar (Bagaha). Prashant Kumar (Lakhisarai) has been posted as Senior Police Deputy Superintendent, Special Task Force (STF), Patna, while Shiv Shankar Kumar (Araria) has been designated as SDPO-2, Patna City.
Similarly, Sunil Kumar Singh (Gopalganj) has been appointed SDPO-1, Hilsa (Nalanda), and Satyakam (Darbhanga) has been assigned SDPO-1, Dehri (Rohtas). Raghav Dayal has been posted as SDPO-1, Masaurhi (Patna), and Amarnath has been assigned to SDPO-1, Bihar Sharif (Nalanda).
Kanhaiya Kumar (Jamui) has been appointed as SDPO, Piro (Bhojpur). Chandan Kumar Thakur (Madhubani) has received the responsibility of SDPO, Gogari (Khagaria). Ragini Kumari has been designated as Police Deputy Superintendent, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Bihar, Patna. Sneha Setu has been appointed SDPO-2, Kahalgaon (Bhagalpur), and Prakash has been assigned SDPO-2, Sadar (Chhapra).
Additionally, Raj Kumar-2 (Patna) has been given new responsibilities in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bihar, Patna.
