
UDAIPUR, July 13, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) : Shree Diagnostic PET-CT Centre has been inaugurated in Udaipur, marking a significant step in the field of advanced diagnostic services. The centre will provide advanced diagnostic facilities at a single location for patients from South Rajasthan and nearby areas of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, helping save time and resources while supporting better treatment planning.
The state-of-the-art centre was inaugurated by Rahul Agrawal. The inauguration ceremony was attended by M. M. Mangal, Sharad Kothari, Manoj Mahajan, Saurabh Sharma, Ankur Sharma and Nishigandha Mahajan, along with several doctors and city residents. Bhamashah and RGHS facilities will also be available for patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Agrawal emphasized the importance of accurate and timely diagnostic investigations in modern healthcare. He said that services such as PET-CT and Gamma Camera Imaging are being made more accessible and added that strengthening healthcare services is one of the most important investments for society. He expressed confidence that the centre would emerge as a reliable, modern and accessible diagnostic facility for patients from Udaipur and nearby regions.
The centre has been designed to provide high-quality investigations under expert supervision. Services available include Whole Body Oncology PET and CT with IV Contrast, Whole Body PET and CT for PUO, Cardiac PET and CT, Brain PET and CT, and PET-CT Fusion. Under Gamma Camera Imaging, the centre will offer DTPA Scan, MUGA Scan, DMSA Renal Scan, Thyroid Scan, Parathyroid Scan, Whole Body 131-I Scan, DRCG Scan, Stress MPI, Rest MPI and Bone Scan.
According to the information shared at the inauguration, PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine investigations are useful for cancer, heart disease, kidney-related disorders and other complex medical conditions. These investigations help in identifying diseases at an early stage and assist doctors in preparing appropriate treatment plans.
