BJP Intensifies Preparations for Datia By-Election


Bhopal, July 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ramped up its preparations for the upcoming by-election in the Datia assembly constituency of Madhya Pradesh. Senior party leader Narottam Mishra met with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, BJP state president and MLA Hemant Khandelwal, and regional organization secretary Ajay Jamwal at the Chief Minister’s residence to discuss strategies for the election.

During the meeting, the leaders extensively discussed the election strategy, organizational matters, and preparations. They emphasized the importance of unity within the organization, assuring that all party workers would stand firmly behind the party’s decisions.

Following the meeting, the BJP clarified that while some workers had expressed their intention to resign out of emotion regarding candidate selection, no formal resignations had been received by the organization. The party made it clear that no resignations from any worker would be accepted.

The BJP organization has urged all workers to unite and actively participate in the election campaign. The party stated that all members would work with enthusiasm and dedication to ensure a significant victory for their candidate, Ashutosh Tiwari. BJP leaders claimed that the party would achieve a record victory in the Datia by-election.

Meanwhile, BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal released a video message announcing Ashutosh Tiwari as the party’s candidate. He acknowledged reports of some workers resigning out of emotional responses but reiterated that no resignation had been formally submitted.

Khandelwal stated, “The BJP organization has decided that no resignation from any worker will be accepted. Under the guidance of senior leader Narottam Mishra, all workers will work together to secure a significant victory in the Datia seat.”

The Datia by-election is considered crucial for the BJP, as the party aims to maintain organizational unity while the Congress has also entered the electoral fray with its candidate. Increased electoral activities from both major parties are expected in the coming days.
