Ankara, July 9: President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that the United States is currently experiencing the strongest economic growth in its history. He attributed this progress to record investments, a surge in manufacturing, and a significant number of new jobs, all resulting from his administration’s policies that are transforming the country’s industrial framework.
During a press conference following the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump emphasized that America has regained its economic momentum and its strong identity on the global stage.
He remarked, “It is clear now that America is back, stronger, bigger, and better than ever before.” Trump noted that there are more jobs available than ever, and the world respects the U.S. more than it has in the past. He highlighted that companies across the nation are making record investments to establish new factories and production units.
Trump claimed that the total investment has reached an unprecedented $19.2 trillion, which is six times higher than previous levels. He asserted that such a level of investment has never occurred in the history of the U.S. or any other country. According to Trump, this investment is flowing into several key industries.
He also mentioned that automobile companies are rapidly building factories and pointed out the swift growth of infrastructure related to artificial intelligence (AI). Trump stated that AI companies have been allowed to build their own power plants, noting that this industry alone requires as much energy as the entire U.S. currently produces. He asserted that the U.S. remains ahead of China in the AI sector.
Furthermore, Trump indicated that the U.S. defense industry is advancing rapidly due to increased procurement of defense equipment by NATO member countries. He stated, “We make the best defense equipment in the world. Everyone wants American equipment because it works better.” He added that major defense companies are establishing new production facilities to meet the rising demand, emphasizing that they are achieving what should have been done 47 years ago.
