Vi Offers 96 Days Extra Validity and 30GB Bonus Data — ₹50 Cheaper Than Jio’s Plan | Udaipur Kiran

New Delhi, November 8 (Udaipur Kiran): Telecom competition in India is heating up once again. Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has introduced a ₹1,749 prepaid plan that offers 96 days more validity and 30GB extra data compared to Jio’s ₹1,799 plan — all while being ₹50 cheaper. The Vi plan also includes unlimited calling, daily SMS, and several additional data perks that make it one of the most value-packed long-term recharge options in the market.

Vi ₹1,749 Plan: Long Validity and Extra Data

The Vodafone-Idea ₹1,749 plan comes with a validity of 180 days and offers 1.5GB of daily data. In addition, users get a bonus 30GB of extra data for 45 days at no extra cost.

Vi is also offering its “Binge All Night” feature, which allows unlimited data usage between 12 midnight and 6 AM without affecting the daily data quota. The plan includes Weekend Data Rollover, letting users carry forward unused data to the weekend, and the “Data Delights” benefit, offering 2GB of backup data per month.

Other benefits include 100 free SMS per day and unlimited voice calling across all networks.

Jio ₹1,799 Plan: Shorter Validity, Heavier Benefits

In comparison, Reliance Jio’s ₹1,799 plan offers 84 days of validity with 3GB of daily data, unlimited calls, and 100 SMS per day. Eligible Jio users can also access unlimited 5G data under the company’s welcome offer.

Jio’s plan packs several premium digital benefits, including:

  • Free Disney+ Hotstar subscription

  • Free 2-month Jio Home trial for new users

  • 50GB Jio Cloud storage

  • 2% extra benefits on Jio Finance Gold

  • Google Gemini Pro plan worth ₹35,100 free for 18 months (for users aged 18–25 years)

Verdict

While Jio’s ₹1,799 plan offers superior data speed, premium OTT access, and youth-focused benefits, Vi’s ₹1,749 plan delivers unmatched validity and data flexibility for users who prioritize longevity over add-ons.

For those seeking affordable long-term connectivity with extended validity, Vi’s plan offers a strong value proposition, while power users and 5G enthusiasts may still find Jio’s offering more rewarding.
