Former Deputy Superintendent Found Dead in Jharkhand Well


Udaipur, July 13: A shocking incident unfolded in Giridih, Jharkhand, on Monday when the body of Dr. B.N. Jha, the former Deputy Superintendent of the district’s sadar hospital, was discovered in a public well located in the Lakhari area. The local police from the Pachamba police station rushed to the scene upon receiving the information and, with the assistance of local residents, retrieved the body for post-mortem examination at the sadar hospital.

The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of death. According to reports, Dr. Jha had left his home for his morning walk, as he did every day. Shortly thereafter, locals spotted a body in the public well and alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, the police confirmed the identity of the deceased. The news of the incident quickly spread, drawing a large crowd of locals and acquaintances to the scene.

Dr. Jha was well-known in the medical community as a senior and experienced physician who had served as the Deputy Superintendent at the Giridih sadar hospital. His untimely death has sent shockwaves through the medical fraternity and the local populace, with family members in deep mourning.

Police officials stated that it is too early to draw any conclusions regarding the cause of death.
